Welcome to DevLoom. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:

• Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier (via Google Auth/GitHub Auth).
• Contact Data: includes email address.
• Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location.
• Profile Data: includes your username, learning progress, courses completed, and feedback.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

• To register you as a new user (via Google/GitHub).
• To track your learning progress and issue certificates.
• To manage our relationship with you.
• To improve our website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences.

4. Google User Data

DevLoom uses Google OAuth to allow you to log in easily. We only access your:

• Email Address: To identify your account.
• Name & Profile Picture: To personalize your profile on DevLoom.

We do not access your contacts, calendar, or any other private Google data. We do not sell your Google user data to third parties.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials. From Razorpay we keep only what we need for your receipt, access and refunds: the payment and order reference, amount, currency, payment method type (for example "card" or "upi"), payment status and the email address used for the receipt. For Team purchases we also keep the Team and the number of seats bought. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even if you delete your account. Razorpay's own handling of payment data is covered by its privacy policy.
